Hi, Congratulation on your new site! I would like some items that are not shiny. A matte finish is what I prefer. I love the ponchos. Please enter me in your drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

Wow, love your shop!! I really like the "uniqueness" in your items. They all have a touch of glamour and glitz to them instead of the plain, ordinary , "cutesy" baby items. I would love to be entered as we are expecting our fourth in just a couple of months!

lovely booties!

i really like the fact that you have unique items! the booties and ponchos - i haven't seen too many of either of those, but they both look great.

dare i say i think you could charge a LOT more? i was surprised to see the prices so low, which almost makes me wonder if the quality is low. not saying that it is - i just think that you need to price your items at value and not at cost.

also, it's all well and good to say "we have lots of fabric options", but without seeing pictures of them, i'd hesitate about ordering. pictures of completed items, stacks of fabrics, etc., would go a long way to showcasing your wonderful products.

way to go - i think you're off to a great start! if you are aware of the quality of your offerings, make sure that your customer is, too!

The E2 booties are lovely - would you be able to do them in larger sizes for children with disabilities who can't walk and need soft footwear? Because if so then I know a few children who could use them!

wonderful ideas, and cute products! i think it might help to place some sort of background (like a sheet or wallpaper) behind the products to really make them POP. other than that, their perfect! thanks for including me.

I love the idea of the poncho. I carry my daughter in a sling, and haven't been able to sort out a good way to deal with coat, etc. - if I put her in a coat, it's too hot in the sling, if I don't, it's cold getting her in and out of the car. I think I would like something different, fabric-wise, but I can't quite put my finger on what.

Your ponchos are really beautiful. The only suggestion I can think of is maybe also selling matching fleecy mittens.

Trish said...

Your products look adorable and clever! Love the brocade items!

Sarah said...

I love the ponchos. I've been looking for something like this for my daughter. Big coats are so hard with car seats.

I think your prices are good. They do not make me question the quality of your merchandise. There are a lot of people who make beautiful clothing on etsy but it costs a fortune. I understand that materials cost money and time is worth a lot. However, it's hard for me to justify spending a ton on clothing that my 15 month old will wear for maybe one season. That's just me though :)

My only suggestion is that I would try using natural light and not flash when you take your pictures. Most of them are really good, but there are a few close ups that have a lot of glare and it makes it hard to see the detail on the fabric. Try putting them on a table in front of a window, it might help.

The booties are adorable. You might want to look into getting a snap press. It would make a cleaner looking finished product.

I love the ponchos and fleece booties! Congrats on the store! My suggestion would be to show more pictures of each item (different colors, fabrics, etc) so people know the variety of options available. Hope that helps! prettybritty425@gmail.com

I love the Pink Brocade poncho. Most ponchos aren't made from beautiful fabrics and are fairly plain to me. I think you should definately find more patterns in these that type of fabric as opposed to just cotton or fleece. They look very well made!

Brocade Poncho - Custom is just so pretty.

heather h said...

Oh these are so cute! Your baby looks so sweet in the poncho picks. I know you probably don't want to buy a ton of expensive fabric until the customer indicates interest in that particular fabric. Maybe you could get photos of the fabric off another site if that's ok to do or you can list the color choices. We do wedding invitations and offer customization but find that color suggestions somehow help people get started easier. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us! You could put your cute poncho on other mommy giveaway sites (or the booties since they are cheaper and you won't go broke giving them away!) to get the word out there even further than this lovely bloggy carnival. I wish you the best of luck!

I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions for you. I think the fact that you are offering mom's sizes is great! I would have loved one of these when I was pregnant as it's COLD here and my baby was born in March. Needless to say my tummy always was cold! ;)

Your ponchos are adorable! I wouldn't worry about getting them dirty though, since once you were inside to feed the baby this would come off. Can you make the ponchos reversible?
